BMW X5 Engine Filter Replacement DIY (2014-2018 BMW F15X5 & BMW F16 X6)

►The BMW X5 engine air filter is intended to clean the air entering the intake before it gets into the engine. Over the course of thousands of hours of operation, the air filter can become clogged up by dust and other debris which will significantly decrease airflow into the engine. In addition, a clogged air filter can also allow smaller particles through into the engine causing additional wear and tear. This OEM replacement filter will drop into place and fit just like the original. FCP Euro recommends regular inspection of your engine’s air filter and replacement at a minimum every 30,000 miles but depending on where you live and how you drive your car, it’s worth checking every few oil changes.
